We can't know what others are feeling but you have painted it perfectly.

I have always been on the outside looking in, and here you show us the inside as it was for you. Your use of mortal words to show us what you felt is nothing short of a miracle.

In this piece , that place you were in seems like a hard shell or a skin you shedded off and found a soft new thing underneath to care for. As you emerged you seem to be open to the new life and world, yet you wisely acknowledge that that old part is still there, just now smaller, less bossy, no longer all powerful.

I really like your personifications and your paradoxes in this writing. I know it was probably not intentional but as you know, our lives are full of paradoxes and irony. I believe it is part of our journey on this plane of existence. I hope you keep writing because it is liberating to free your thoughts this way. (You might even inspire me to go back to it.)

I know you have changed and I am happy for it. I know you are like a colt on wobbly legs. I am happily watching you develop your wings. Don't worry about things you can't change, only the things you can change should have your attention right now. You are doing fine.
I love you like a crazy....
The old Dragyonfly Ladydragyonflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05120619234558103029noreply@blogger.com
